Demiana Willing

Demiana Willing is a Registered Psychologist, and AHPRA approved supervisor, who has been working at STRATTS since 2014. Demiana is currently working within the STARTTS Neurofeedback Team as a Child and Adolescent Specialist. Demiana started off her career working as a counsellor for Children and Adolescents with developmental trauma at the Child Protection Counselling Service, before moving to STARTTS to work with Children and Adolescents with refugee trauma. Several years ago, she started with the Neurofeedback team and have a growing interest in how Neurofeedback works alongside other modalities. Demiana has recently acquired her accreditation for Neurofeedback Therapy through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA). Demiana holds a strong passion for attachment theory, and its relation to the development of the nervous system. In her work at STARTTS, Demiana has successfully utilised Neurofeedback, along with other modalities in the healing and recovery of her clients. Demiana views Neurofeedback modalities as central in her therapeutic approach, and in the recovery of her clients.
